On April 2, food aficionados Jonathan Schwartz and Greg Papadopoulos will be preparing PBS cooking show host Caprial Pence’s Wild Mushroom Flan (adapted for the Easy-Bake oven as featured on NPR) — baking one tart at a time for 30 minutes at a temperature of 60 watts (3x faster than its closest competitor). Do you know anything about the stock VVWT? They put out Rockstar Energy Drink and Mikes Hard Lemonade. There isn’t much info out there about them. The 52 week high is 60 cents, the 52 week low is 0. I have heard something about them being a scam like that movie Boiler Room but there isn’t that much info out there about them. Do you know anything about them?

Penny stock. People try to get a lot of others to buy it so it goes up and then they sale theirs and it goes down and you’re stuck with a low priced stock.
They can also short it. That means they sell it when it goes down because they shorted it and you didn’t and again you are holding a stock that went down the tubes.
Last year in March and May this stock had a lot of activity and the price went up to about $ .60. It has been at about $ .02 since last year July with little activity. This all proves my point.
Don’t fall for the penny stock scam even tho it is technically legal for them to do this.

Biocentric Energy Holdings, Inc. Good or Bad Investment?
Question by Matt: Biocentric Energy Holdings, Inc. Good or Bad Investment?
hello, my name is matt and im looking for a company to invest it. I am 17 and getting ready for college in fall. My goal by investing in the stock market is to have enough money for a downpayment on a car when i get out of college in 5 years. Right now im looking at buying a penny stock Biocentric Energy Holdings, Inc (Ticker symbol BEHL). This is a company that is working on turning algae into fuel. If successful i believe stocks will skyrocket. Im looking at putting about $ 300 in right now while it is still a penny, then if it begins to rise, i will keep reinvesting what i make until i make a certain amount of money (undetermined yet). Do you think that it would be a good buy to take a shot at this penny stock? or do you think that this will go bankrupt in a matter of months and ill be out $ 300?

The company has released about 10 press releases since November 9th. Most every few days in December and this Jan. I find that the more these little companies brag, the more desperate for money they are. Strike 1.
They are in a business that is full of microcap companies with “the latest and greatest” breakthrough. They are a dime a dozen and non of them are worth that. Strike 2.
Many of the other companies in the business can brag that they are connected with the biology/biochemistry departments of major universities. These researchers are the ones that can get big energy and education type grants. BEHL does not brag about this type of connection. Strike 3.
And lastly, they may very well have the “latest and greatest breakthrough” but at this stage of the game, it is too early to tell who the winners are.

I came across “Envision Solar International Inc.(EVSI)” today. They are building solar trees in parking lots. The solar panels can track the movement of the sun to allow the panels to absorb more of the sun’s energy during the day. In addition to providing shade for electric vehicles, customers will also be able to charge their vehicles. One is already in use at the Dell Co. headquarters. It’s a penny stock currently selling at around $ 0.47 per share. This is the first company to do this. I’m thinking about purchasing 10,000 shares for the “future”.

I think it would be. Alternative energy is becoming very popular these days. Furthermore, the “Green Collar” economy is getting off the ground, so people of all economic backgrounds could potentially benefit from it, and not just the wealthy. Most western countries are ahead of the USA in alternative energy, so it’s only a matter of time before we catch up.
Furthermore, technology like that would be incredibly helpful in places like sub-Saharan Africa where there is a lot of sun. With purchasing power, the cost of producing and buying these “solar trees” will decrease and thus they will become more abundant, in accordance with supply and demand.
