CHCI-2%$ 3.30The last resistance is 2 years ago at approx $ 4. I don’t expect it to make it that far and would keep an eye to see if it falls soon.
ECIFY-0.9% $ 4.19Mainly watching this because it looks like it hit resistance (double top). Im expecting it to fall. But not by a lot.
ECTY-8% $ 4.17Had a nice run up from $ 0.50 to $ 1.80. I would keep watching this for a break down. -8% indicates possible down action soon I’m guessing.
EXEL-0.38% $ 5.22Looks like its leveling off. The next day or so will tell whether this stock is falling or gonna make another rise.
FXEN-9% $ 3.44Failed to reach peak in march. Expecting it to fall back to around $ 3.
GGS-1.07% $ 3.70Volume is fading. Watch for decrease.
LOTE43% $ 6.05EXCITING! Looks like the shorts got squeezed. Good opportunity for a large dip.
PWER-0.32% $ 6.31Not sure whats going on with this. Maybe news will explain. Idk. Good rise, but no action, small volume.

These aren’t from penny stock newsletters or anything. I did all the research and comments by myself. Basically looked on yahoo finance, sorted gainers between a certain price range and volume. Then choose these ones for the reasons I listed.

I wouldn’t touch penny stocks with a 10 foot pole.
Looks like you have done a lot of work on this subject,
but it should be only 10% or less of your entire investment
portfolio. Most people lose at this game. Check this link.

What’s a reliable yet inexpensive online stock exchange company? I was thinking about e-trade or schwab. How much do you need to open an account and whats that money for? And how easy are these sites to navigate? Is it point, click, buy/sell?

you can open an online brokerage account with as little as $ 500. the money is your money, you use it to buy stocks, but the brokerage charges a fee every time you buy or sell, so if you plan on trading alot, you want to choose one with a small transaction fee. most few i’ve used are pretty simple to navigate, pretty much like finance.yahoo.com, but with a link to buy/sell. (word of warning: i can often be too easy, so make sure you know what you’re doing first or you might lose lots of money on accident )
if you’re not comfortable with stock market concepts, try to get a practice account on a site like: http://www.stocktrak.com/ (there are some on facebook too)

I have 35 thousand in savings, and I have a hunch on the return of this company (ticker: CNAM) Trading at pennies per share. I’m going to drop it all in and let it ride. Tha seem very stupid. Most penny stocks ar scams. If you have gotten this “hunch” from someone, it is probably a pump and dump scam.

Hi, I am looking to get into trading in one of the two markets. I have NO experience in either but have been doing some reading on both, I am aware that people are having sucess with forex bots (if your one of them please tell me about it. But are there any stock market/penny stock bots available other than the scam “marl”? Witch market would be more profitable going into right now? I will have about 5000 to start with.. thanks.. PS please dont answer if you only have doom and gloom remarks!

Do not start in Forex if you are not a trader already. With out the US currency, you would need to know the macro economics of other countries pairs. It’s easy to think of the Us dollar Vs. a Yen, however most people would have a very difficult time with the Yen and the Euro. Penny stocks are pointless since they only offer pennies. All they can do is to give someone the pleasure of owning a large number of stocks, that means nothing in real money. To buy and sell 1000 shares for a $ 100 gain is for armatures who have no idea what their actually doing to begin with. Ex Six Flags Inc (SIXFQ), Great Adventures is a penny stock OTC that maybe good during the summer season, but it would be pointless to ignore Disney World stock, because it’s on the NYSE.

I am a beginner at the stock market. I’ve recently watched many videos on Timothy Sykes on how to trade stocks. I went through a list of penny stocks that I found interesting and put a quick note as to why I thought it was interesting. If there are any professional traders out there, im looking for constructive criticism on how I read charts. Please let me know if im thinking wrong about these stocks. Thank you for your time!

You have stumbled onto one of the most notorious penny stock sites. Ignore everything you read there. Please read the SEC warning link below about penny stocks.

A one line observation is not sufficient basis for investment decisions. It is really dangerous that you think this constitutes analysis.

Here are three excellent investment books that are suitable for a novice. I suggest that you read them all before buying or selling anything.

A Random Walk Down Wall Street – Burton Malkiel
The Intelligent Investor – Benjamin Graham

Can someone help me understand the stock market?

Question by julybaby: Can someone help me understand the stock market?
Ok, so the market has been going down the past few weeks.

1) Does this mean that people are selling off their stocks?
2) Why would selling your stocks make the market fall?
3) If I own a stock, and then someone else who owns the same stock decides to sell, why does this cause my stock to go down in value?

Sorry if these questions seem stupid but I’ve just started learning about the market.

it is supply and demand…

when a bunch of people fear the value of their stock will go down (by some other market force) they panic and sell their stocks. Just like with anything else in the market, when it gets flooded with a lot of supply, the price drops because it is less scarce.

Many people invest the wrong way. They see the market is doing well, so they decide that they want a piece. Then the market starts to decline and they panic that they will lose their money, so they sell. In actuality, you are better off to invest when the market is down because you can get more shares for your buck. Then sell when the market is high… you see?

I mean you buy a stock there has to be someone selling what if no one is selling what then? also when you do shorts and you borrow sell them and then buy them back and give them back to make profit of a drop in stock what if you cant buy anywhere them back?

I mean i can understand basic stuff (or maybe not lol) but can anyone direct me to some stuff where i can learn about the basics and maybe even more advanced stuff.

Hi, i have recently been looking for companies with a market capitalization of less than a million dollars. I have several in mind that I was wondering about buying 50.1% of shares so that my investment would put upward pressure on the stock’s movement.

Can I do this? Will buying half of a company’s common stock force the stock to rise in value?

With a market cap that low it would be in the penny stock range. Either what you’re buying wont be worth it or they could issue more shares to dilute your position.
